THE ROCK AND THE WAVE
I want you wildly in the dust of this look,
Who dreams of flowers, fields and gardens;
I wait for you in this same orchard,
Of fruitful fruits, lights and cherubim.
It's all beautiful when I'm with you,
The wind ... Clouds ... Sunny sky ...
Even smiling, singing to yourself,
Staying in you, needy and in love.
But this passion that I feel frightens me,
It makes me want to run away, fly away;
This look of love, my lady,
On dark nights it is leaf fluttering.
My will is great, just like yours,
Burning passion that never ends;
I want you, love, maybe more than God,
In this sea of desire you are the rock, I am the wave.
