"CHERRY IN FLOWER"

You're white, like angel wings,

You dance in the wind the waltz of love;

In lilac, yellow or blue,

Trying to captivate some bee in your flower.

You have the body of Venus, perhaps of an Iara,

I rest at your feet, for you calm me;

Make me a boy, sipping the jealousy,

In this perfume of yours, how silly it calms me down.

You are beautiful and captivating, the earth is your friend,

I am also your friend, you give me inspiration,

And in the song of the wind I make you melody.

I wanted to be with you for all my time,

That I think to be eternal like this poetry,

Oh! Queen of my nights and goddess of my days.
