I WANT PEACE FROM THE FIELD
I want the peace of the countryside,
In the song of the birds;
In the mourning of the waterfalls,
That feed the rivers.
In the freshness of the grass,
In the morning voice;
In the soul of the wind,
In the music of the rain.
In the silence that governs,
Songs of archangels;
In the calm of the angels,
In the music of the rain.
I want the peace of the fields,
No hot mate bitter;
Unhurried conversations,
With the companion.
In the stillness of the clouds,
Earth travelers;
In the blue of this sky,
That houses the nirvana.
In the tic tac delays,
From the old clock;
Friend of time,
Who never spends.
I want the peace of the countryside,
In the patience of the trees;
Who drink from the earth,
Food to life.
In the brightness of the stars,
Who paint dawns;
On the day that arrives,
Dress light.
And in your smile,
That enchants my life;
I want this peace,
To give to my people.
